I'm just happy my daughters are good sports about it.Veronica Randolph Battersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08095570282922992848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712825270544060430.post-10107270945129026652012-03-15T10:00:56.502-05:002012-03-15T10:00:56.502-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Veronica Randolph Battersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08095570282922992848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712825270544060430.post-10080575902560021642012-03-14T18:22:59.330-05:002012-03-14T18:22:59.330-05:00Hi Veronica, yes, kids come up with the funniest th...Hi Veronica, yes, kids come up with the funniest things. I laughed at your post, so funny.

Yesterday, I asked my five-year-old grandson what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said a shopper. "A shopper?" I asked. "How will you earn money shopping? and how will you earn money to shop?"

"You'll give me pocket money, Nana," was his reply. "Then I can buy nice things."

LOL. I explained to him that wasn't an option and he'd have to earn his own money and he said, "Okay, then I'll sell my old toys and my drawings."

"Oh, I see," I said. "So you're going to have a toy shop and become a famous artist then?"

"Yes," he replied. "Then I can play with all the toys in my shop and draw pictures."

At least he knows what he wants to do, maybe. At that age I wanted to be an ice-skater or an author. I could never stay upright on ice and I didn't become an author until my fifties, but I got there in the end. I wonder if my grandson will have that toy shop or become an Illustrator or artist. Hope I'm alive to see. LOL.

Now, to ask the two-year old granddaughter whatb she's going to be. I have a feeling it's a comedian. LOL.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03216407428320615449noreply@blogger.com
